Cove Fort, Utah
Desert Tiny House Escape - at Wildernest Club
About the property
**Please note: we are not done improving the property.** This amazing desert getaway is a perfect stop for both travelers and adventurers, alike. Perfectly isolated, yet literally 1 minute off the Freeway. The Tiny House has amazing views of the wilderness; with sunsets and stars like you wouldn’t believe. The house is well equipped and stocked. Smart TV w/Starlink! Central to National Parks. Bryce Canyon 1.5hrs ZION 2hrs Capital Reef 1.5hrs Great Basin 2.25hrs Arches 3hrs Canyonlands 3.5hrs Keep in mind, this is a very small “tiny house on wheels” (8 feet by 20 feet or 160 square feet). The Tiny House was built by myself and 2 other meticulous craftsmen. Very comfortable with excellent AC/heat. It has regular utilities, so unlimited electricity, AC/heating, and hot water. Normal toilet (no weird composting toilets). The shower, though small, has plenty of water like a regular home. You do NOT need to sacrifice any comforts in order to conserve water or power. Smart-home features include smart-lock, dimming lights, Roku Smart TV and Amazon Alexa for music. We now have Starlink internet! Fully functional kitchen is well stocked with snacks and some food supplies. Large sink, regular microwave, and a medium sized fridge/freezer. There is a toaster, hot plate, and pots/pans. There is a small portable cook-top, but not a full stove. The living room has a couch (that is also a Queen sofa bed), and a large smart TV. Spectacular views out the huge picture window. The short loft, which is accessed by a ladder, has the main queen sized bed, lots of windows, and USB charging outlets. Outside there is a fire pit (camp chairs inside). We keep some firewood close by, and usually have marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate for making S’mores. The tiny house and everything inside is there exclusively for you to use. The property is available for you to explore. Please pardon the construction and other “work in progress” areas. Self-check in is our standard. Let us know if you have a preference and would like to meet us in person. The door has a smart-lock with a key pad. We will send you a 4 digit code to open the door. Everything will be prepared ahead of time for your arrival. We can chat for check-in if you like, as we love talking to our friends. Feel free to contact us anytime. We should be available if anything is needed. The Cove Fort Area has the Cove Fort Historical Site, as well as The Pahvant Gas station nearby and a Terribles across I-15. Otherwise there are just a handful of neighbors in the entire valley (opposite side of I15). This site is on the West side of the freeway and there is not much out here but open range and grass land. Most of it is essentially unoccupied BLM lands. The resident antelope are skittish but come around periodically. Look for them in the early mornings, and during the day. You might see some. Be sure you understand this location is in the middle of nowhere, even though it is immediately off the Freeway. And it is a vacant desert with no trees. There can be dust/wind and it can be sunny. The winter can get cold and windy, as well.
